Here’s a little update on my stash of recently completed projects at the moment (photo bomb by my son, little fat toes ❤ ). I’ve got a lot more to do! I’m trying to get a good amount made up for our church’s boutique in November. Hopefully, I’ll have a good variety completed and ready by then!
And, in case you are wondering, I do love to crochet 😉
It’s a hobby. I really do it because I enjoy it.
I just got a job as a tutor! I start next week. I’m super nervous about it because as I was whipping up my resume I realized that it been two years since I’ve done much “in my field” (I was a Teacher Ed major).
We will see how I do!
Here’s a few moments in my day-to-day, all totally candid:
(And here are the main reasons why I haven’t pursued anything “in my field” in two years)
That little hand ❤
Investigating Daddy’s bible
Lazy morning
Kisses from Uncle Caleb ❤
Grace in the everyday, mundane things ❤
Reminds me of Luke 2:19 “But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.”
Mary had an extra special reason to treasure up moments with her son, Jesus. I also think every mother does that same thing, treasure up moments with our children. Big moments, little moments, tantrums, kisses, laughs, cries, sicknesses, parties. All of it. We hover over the moments with our children, pondering them, remembering them, dreading them, loving them, laying in bed at night dwelling on them… Then I remember this verse:
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
Lamentations 3:22-24
I will hope in the Lord.
Soli Deo Gloria!
